Overview of Services

 

The JP Sulzberger Columbia Genome Center supports biologists and biomedical scientists by providing a state-of-the-art infrastructure and knowledge base for advanced research in the genomic sciences. It offers a range of next-generation sequencing and high-throughput screening services and technologies including:

 

Next-generation sequencing

  • RNA-seq, exome, and whole genome sequencing
  • Single-cell sequencing
  • Self-prep library sequencing
  • Element Aviti (self-prep and self-service)

The Columbia Genome Center is also closely integrated with the Columbia University Department of Systems Biology, which brings expertise in advanced data analysis, using techniques from computational biology, bioinformatics, and other related disciplines.
