Welcome!
The Molecular Cytogenetics Core Shared Resource provides Karyotype, FISH, SKY, and a variety of fluorescence imaging capture and analysis. The Carl Zeiss Axio Imager Z2 microscope is equipped with Metafer software including MSearch, MetaCyte and AutoCapt modules and can perform automatic scanning as well as capture of metaphase/interphase/fluorescence imaging. The GenASIs platform installed in the Nikon Eclipse E800 microscope supports G/R/C/Q-banding, FISH, and SKY. Our full time staff provide assistance with using the microscope, training for independent use, and technical support.
